Here is a list of the most common coupon-ing terms and chat abbreviations! (who knew there was a special code to all of this ?!?!)
- P&G - Proctor and Gamble coupon insert
- RP- Red Plum coupon insert
- SS- Smart Source coupon insert
- IP - Internet Printable coupon
- ECB-Extra Care Bucks (CVS CASH!)
- RR-Register Rewards (Walgreens Cash!)
- GC-Gift Card
- COUPON STACKING -using multiple coupons for one purchase i.e.
using both a store and a manufacturers coupon together - or using a
percentage off and a free shipping code together - AC-After Coupons
- BC - Before Coupons
- HTH - Hope That Helps
- SP-Stock Pile
- Peelies-sticker coupons found ON prodcuts
- POP-Proof of Purchase (product label or UPC)
- UPC-Universal product code (the black bar code lines with numbers beneath them)
- Blinkie - the little coupon machines you find in stores next to products
- TEAR PAD- pad of coupons or refund forms on shelves in the store next to products
- BOGO - Buy One Get One
- Q or CPN-Coupon
- B1G1F - Buy 1 Get 1 Free
- TMF - Try Me Free
- CAT - Catalina coupons (those coupons that print after your receipt at the register)
- OOP - Out Of Pocket expense
- YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary (means not every store willl have the same price or sale/deal)
- MQ-Manufacturer Coupon
- FAR - Free After Rebate
- WYB-When You Buy
- $1/2 - A coupon value, this means $1.00 off when you purchase 2 of the same item
- 3/$5 - Get 3 items for $5.00 (Does NOT mean you must purchase all 3 to get the special price, the price will be pro rated for what you DO buy ie. $1.67/item)
